JOIN US FOR AN ENRICHING ADVANCED YOGA NIDRA TEACHER TRAINING ON SATURDAY, MARCH 8TH, FROM 9 AM TO 2 PM..

 

This INDEPTH AND ADVANCED YOGA NIDRA  workshop is designed for Yoga teachers who wish to deepen their understanding and practice of Yoga Nidra, an easy and ancient relaxation technique. 

 

This workshop is also particularly useful for wellness coaches, healers, social workers, teachers, palliative care providers and psychologists, as it offers tools and techniques that can enhance your professional practice.

 

Yoga Nidra can serve as a powerful method to promote self-care and emotional resilience, helping to reduce and manage stress. Teachers can utilize these techniques to create a calming classroom environment, facilitating better focus and emotional regulation among students.

 

In palliative care, the principles of Yoga Nidra can provide comfort and relaxation to patients, aiding in pain management and emotional support during challenging times. Psychologists can incorporate Yoga Nidra into therapy sessions, using guided relaxation and visualization to help clients access deeper states of awareness and facilitate healing.

 

We will begin with an introduction to Yoga Nidra, exploring its history, philosophy, and numerous benefits. Participants will gain insights into the various stages of Yoga Nidra and the significance of each stage in facilitating profound relaxation and healing.

 

Creating a safe and supportive environment is crucial, and we will discuss effective strategies for setting up your space, ensuring comfort, and the importance of props. The training will cover essential guiding techniques, including vocal skills, the use of imagery and effective pacing to enhance the teaching experience.

 

We will explore how to engage students in meditative awareness and how to incorporate Sankalpa (yogic intention setting) into the Yoga Nidra practice. Participants will also learn breath techniques to enhance relaxation and explore visualization methods, including guided imagery and crafting effective visualizations.

 

We will address common challenges such as distractions and restlessness, providing strategies for supporting diverse needs within your practice, including trauma informed yoga nidra techniques.

 

The workshop includes practical teaching sessions where participants can practice peer teaching and receive constructive feedback.   Resources for continued learning, including recommended readings and opportunities for further training, will also be provided.
